Alabama Birth Center Community Classes
We offer a variety of classes and support groups, hosted by ABC Staff, community birth workers, and experts.
Please contact us if you are in need of financial assistance in order to attend a class.
Childbirth Education Class
This class covers the physiology of birth, comfort measures for labor, building a birth plan, pain management options, and more.
Class is approximately five hours with time to ask questions and connect with other expectant parents in the course.
$250 per couple
Breastfeeding Class
This class offers an introduction to breastfeeding with useful tips and tricks for planning for a successful breastfeeding journey.
$100 per couple, inquire about private insurance coverage
Pumping Class
This class offers an introduction to pumping, with topics including back to work, pumping methods, pump accessories, and more.
$100 per couple, inquire about private insurance coverage
Prenatal and Postpartum Support Groups
Mama Circle Huntsville hosts these monthly prenatal and postpartum support groups, free of charge, to any expectant and postpartum parents who would like to connect for encouragement and to learn more about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
